Les Sybelles is a French linked ski area, located in the Savoie department in the Alps. It is one of the largest skiable domains in France. The resort was the home base of Jean-Pierre Vidal, winner of the gold medal in slalom at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Herd of sheeps and goats crossing the road in front of a car at the Col du Glandon in Savoie this autumn (France). I allowed myself a small modification of the traffic sign to give priority to the herd over the car, the mountain being the territory of wildlife and not humans. :-)

We were making our way from Grenoble city up to the Fort de la Bastille. It’s a long series of steep, winding roads to get to the top and we welcomed a short break on hike up. I captured this moment of my friend Alex overlooking Grenoble and I think it came out beautifully.

Visiting The French Alps is always an incredible idea to take awesome pictures, luckily it does not depend on the quality of the snow!

I love this picture. I took it from the Aiguille du Midi in Rhône-Alpes, France at 3,800 meters. The team walking into this perfectly white landscape with the cliff on the left gives you goosebumps.

In The French Alps everything is covered by snow and all you can do (and must do) is to enjoy it! As much as you can and as extreme as you can!!

Whilst skiing this paraglider launched from the piste next to me. Luckily I had my camera in a back pack and after some fumbling was able to share his vista gliding down into the valley. Really pleased to catch a moment with better contrast whilst he was framed against the sky rather than the darker forest

Afternoon with the family in the French Alps. Beautifull point of view when we’re hiking in the direction of the “Glacier de Bionnasay”. I stand on a bridge just on top of this water fall. Very unique moment i wanted to share !

This February me and my wife took a long planned trip snowboarding to Chamonix. We stayed in a small village just outside the main town centre called La Praz which gave us fantastic views of the Mt Blanc range. One afternoon whilst taking our daily walk back to our amazing hotel, I managed to capture this epic shot of the sun slicing through the range to spotlight one of the peaks. Hope you guys enjoy.

Above the village of Argentiere near Chamonix, standing on the viewing deck at the Grand Montets this amazing mix of light and shadow was made possible by the shifting clouds. An instant later it was gone.

As we were adventuring in wolves’ territory in the Parc National du Mercantour, the weather suddenly changed. That’s pretty common in the mountains. The blazing sun left the place for a thick fog. Soon enough, the tree-covered hills were drowned in the mists. I’ve always wanted to shoot these landscapes of grey trees and mist. However, these are hard to come by in Montréal. So I couldn’t let this opportunity slip away and just fired at will. This is one of many other misty pics. Hope you’ll enjoy them.
